Does updating persistence data work on opensocialstuff?
I have error request.parameters.person has no properties on (while calling send method)

i think the main problem is that underneath, opensocial implements gadgets.io.makerequest to fetch data. one of the first things that opensocial does is to use gadgets.io.ContentType and other gadget code to set request parameters, etc. In any case, it appears that Ning has support for opensocial, but has not yet implemented the gadgets spec, which means that it's effectively worthless until they get something done in that regard.

any ideas when we might expect this type of development?
